Aloha to old and
new friends, my always and ever Ohana,
We are currently in New
Zealand , scheduled to return to Maui at the end of July,
Then Thailand , all depending on my mother's health.
Right now I have no wonderful teaching workshops, retreats
Nor even sessions in beautiful parts of the world,
No gallivanting
around the world feeling in demand and self-important
In a life jam-crammed
full of helping and healing
Just quietly meditating, healing, writing,
Helping my mother
make her transition
Learning about that phase of life.
NZ was recently voted “the most peaceful place in the
world,”
So it must be the place for what we are doing
Going inside, healing, transforming
.Deep questions, living with no answers
In retreat from the world
We have gone anonymous!
But I miss you, I feel love for YOU
We journey together in consciousness that never dies
So even though a part of me cries out
“Stop! I don’t want to keep letting go,
Of countries, homes, friends, family, careers, projects,
Ideas, beliefs,
dreams and visions!”
I know it’s good practice for the ultimate change of address
Even as we see people dying around us
I am learning
There is only life
There is only love.
I am practicing to let go for that ultimate ride
Preparing the journey to be done in full
joyous consciousness
Rather than struggling and sick.
Knowing nothing is ever let go of
Except what really needs and wants to be
